Become an Associate: Join Our UAE Legal Referral Network
A practical guide to Join our team of legal professionals at UAE Debt Collection in the United Arab Emirates — the process, the paperwork, the timescales and the fees.
UAE Debt Collection partners with independent, licensed advocates and law firms across the UAE to handle referred legal matters once a case moves beyond amicable recovery. If you are a practising UAE advocate with capacity to accept referred debt recovery, cheque, or commercial dispute cases, complete the form below and our team will contact you to discuss joining our associate network.
Why Partner With UAE Debt Collection
UAE Debt Collection has been recovering unpaid debts for businesses and individuals across the UAE since 1999, working primarily on a No Recovery – No Fee basis. When a case moves beyond amicable negotiation into formal legal territory, we refer the file to an independent, licensed advocate in our associate network rather than handling litigation ourselves.
Joining our associate network gives practising UAE advocates and law firms access to a steady stream of pre-qualified debt recovery, cheque, and commercial dispute referrals, without any cost or obligation to join. You remain fully independent – you take on referred cases under your own licence and manage the client relationship for the legal portion of the matter directly.
Because our client base spans commercial creditors, banks, and overseas businesses with claims connected to the UAE, referred matters come from a genuinely varied mix of industries and case sizes rather than a single narrow niche. This gives associates the flexibility to build a referral relationship that complements their existing practice, rather than competing with it.
We also value long-term relationships over one-off introductions, so associates who communicate clearly and keep clients updated tend to see a steadily growing flow of suitable referrals over time.
Who We’re Looking For
We work with practising advocates and law firms licensed in the UAE who can accept referred matters in areas such as debt recovery, payment order applications, bounced cheque cases, and general commercial disputes. We are particularly interested in associates who cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, or the Northern Emirates, and who can commit to prompt case updates and clear communication with referred clients.
Both individual advocates and multi-partner firms are welcome to apply. There is no minimum caseload requirement, and you choose which referred matters to accept based on your own capacity and areas of practice.
How the Associate Referral Program Works
Our associate process is straightforward and designed to respect your time as a practising advocate:
- 1. Submit your details. Complete the form on this page with your name, firm (if applicable), practice areas, and Emirates covered.
- 2. Verification. Our team confirms your licence status and practice areas before adding you to the associate network.
- 3. Case referral. When a client’s matter needs formal legal action within your practice area and location, we introduce the file to you directly.
- 4. You decide. You review the referred matter and decide whether to accept it based on your own capacity and judgement – there is never an obligation to accept a specific referral.
- 5. Independent engagement. Once accepted, you engage with the client directly under your own retainer and licence for the legal portion of the case.
Frequently Asked Questions: Become an Associate
Who can join the associate network?
Any advocate or law firm currently licensed to practise in the UAE, in good standing with the relevant Bar or judicial department, is welcome to apply.
Is there a cost to join?
No. Joining the associate network is free, and there is no fee or commission owed to UAE Debt Collection for referred cases you accept.
How are referral cases matched to me?
Referrals are matched based on the practice areas and Emirates you register when you join – for example debt recovery litigation, cheque cases, or general commercial disputes.
Can I decline a referred case?
Yes, always. You are never obligated to accept a specific referral, and declining a case does not affect your standing in the network.
Who manages the client relationship for the legal portion of a case?
Once you accept a referral, you engage with the client directly under your own retainer, fee agreement, and professional licence.
Does UAE Debt Collection take a share of your legal fees?
No. Our No Recovery – No Fee model applies only to our own amicable recovery work. Legal fees for any case you accept are agreed directly between you and the client.
What types of cases are typically referred?
Common referrals include payment order applications, bounced or dishonoured cheque cases, breach-of-contract claims, and other commercial debt-related litigation.
Can individual advocates apply, or only law firms?
Both. We welcome applications from independent advocates as well as multi-partner firms.
How quickly will I start receiving referrals?
This depends on demand in your registered practice areas and Emirates at any given time. There is no guaranteed volume or frequency of referrals.
Is there an ongoing obligation once I join?
No. There is no minimum caseload requirement, and you may leave the associate network at any time by notifying our team.
Do you also work with people who are not lawyers?
Yes. Non-lawyers who introduce potential clients can join our separate Referrer program, which operates independently from the associate advocate network.
How is confidentiality handled for referred cases?
Client and case details are only shared with an associate once there is a genuine potential match, and always with a view to protecting client confidentiality.
What information do I need to provide when applying?
Proof of current UAE licence or Bar registration, your practice areas, the Emirates you cover, and your contact details.
Can I update or remove my associate profile later?
Yes. You can contact our team at any time to update your practice areas or coverage, or to be removed from the network.
How do I apply to become an associate?
