Last updated: 1 August 2026. This cookie policy explains what cookies and similar technologies uaedebtcollection.com uses, what each one does, how long it lasts and how you can control it. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On a later visit the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise the same device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and small tracking pixels — do comparable jobs. Cookies set by this domain are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another domain whose content appears on our pages are third-party cookies.
Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These keep the site working and cannot be switched off through the site. They preserve your session while you complete an enquiry form, remember your consent choices, protect forms against automated abuse and spam, balance server load and support the security of the site. Without them, forms and secure areas will not work. They expire when you close your browser or within a short defined period.
Attribution Cookie
We set one first-party attribution cookie that records the first page you landed on and the campaign parameters attached to that visit — for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and gclid — together with the referring website. Its purpose is to credit an enquiry to the channel that produced it, so that we know which of our activities are worth continuing. It lasts up to 90 days.
It does not identify you by name and it is not used for advertising to you.
Performance and Analytics Cookies
Where analytics is enabled, these cookies help us count visits, see which pages are read, understand how people move through the site and detect errors. We use the results in aggregate to improve content and page speed. Analytics identifiers are pseudonymous, and IP addresses are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Functionality Cookies
These remember choices you make — such as language, whether you have dismissed a notice, and live-chat state — so that the site behaves consistently. If you block them the site still works, but you may have to repeat certain choices.
Third-Party and Embedded Content
Some pages embed content hosted elsewhere, such as videos, maps, live chat or social posts. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited that provider’s own website: the provider can set its own cookies, collect data about your interaction and apply its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you do not want that, do not interact with the embedded element, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
We do not sell data collected through cookies, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you for sale to third parties.
Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookie data, particularly when combined with your IP address and an enquiry you submit, amounts to personal data. Where that is the case we process it on the lawful bases set out in our Privacy Policy: necessity for the service you asked for, our legitimate interest in security and in measuring where enquiries come from, and your consent for anything that is not necessary.
You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time by clearing them in your browser and declining them when asked.
How to Control and Delete Cookies
Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored for a site, delete them, block third-party cookies, block all cookies, or clear cookies automatically when you close the browser. The controls sit under Settings and are usually labelled Privacy and security, Cookies and site data, or Manage website data. Mobile browsers offer the same options under their own privacy menus.
Deleting cookies for this site will remove your attribution record and any saved preferences, and you may need to make those choices again.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop enquiry forms, spam protection and live chat from working. Blocking analytics or attribution cookies does not reduce the service you receive from us.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers may send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no single agreed standard for responding to these signals; we do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, so the categories those signals are aimed at are not present on this site.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We will update this cookie policy when the cookies we use change. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the version that applies. If we introduce a new category of non-essential cookie we will ask for your consent before setting it.
Contact
If you want to know more about a specific cookie, or you think this policy is incomplete, tell us through our contact page and mark your message “Data Protection”. Read this policy alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
